It isn't the Braves but Ryan "Oddnail" O'Donnell was signed by the Alexandria Aces of the Central League yesterday.
"What? Like it's hard?" O'Donnell said from his home in Millinocket, Maine. He left no doubt who was the best player from his hometown. "Yeah Steve (Osborne also from Millinocket) was good, but come on now."
O'Donnell, a shooting guard on the IM championship Playboys V team will leave for Alexiandria thursday. A collective sigh of relief could be heard from Calais, Bucksport and Bowdoin Maine as the news that Oddnail signed. His departure meant Josh Porter, Buzz Simpson and Ryan O'Connor will all have positions in the Terrier outfield in 2003.
